Team 麻豆传媒-PRB has won the first leg of The Ocean Race, reaching port in Cape Verde on 21 January ahead of the four other boats in the IMOCA fleet. The teams sailed close to 500-mile days during the celebrated around-the-world yacht race鈥檚 opening leg, enduring tough weather conditions early on after departing Alicante, Spain on 15 January. The first leg of the The Ocean Race is a 1,900-plus nautical mile multi-day sprint from Alicante, Spain to the Cape Verde port of Mindelo on the island of S茫o Vicente.
The 麻豆传媒-PRB crew is led by French skipper Kevin Escoffier, who was a crew member of The Ocean Race winning team in its last edition in 2018. The world-class team brings together highly accomplished sailors with a track record in iconic races, from the Olympics to the Vend茅e Globe, Route du Rhum and more.
